Jeepers!

Looking out her car window
She all but wondered why she shouldn't drive right into the ocean
She was at the point of doing this
When she remembered her 18 months old daughter
She couldn't believe she let herself forget that fact
Since he left her, her world had shattered
He left her to pick the pieces
And she didn't know where to start
Her mom tried to help, her dad too and all her friends
But all she could do was shut everyone out
How? She asked herself
How do I face everyone now?
How do I face my baby?
How do I go on?
They all just assumed she was depressed cuz he left her
Yes that was the major reason, but it was why he left her that got her to be that way
They had been together for the last 15 years
Had a child together a year and the half ago
And then three months ago he cut her off
Told her he was living her for another woman
A woman he had been married to for the last 9 years.
A woman he had a son with.
A woman he said he loved.
Why? She asked him
Why do this to us?
You love your daughter no?
You love me no?
15 years meant nothing?
You're just going to up and leave?
He looked at her with tears in his eyes
She could see the struggle
Was hoping he'd resist and stay with her
But a second after she saw the struggle in his eyes
She saw the mask come right back and knew she had lost him for good
He kissed her square on the lips and left
She turned the car right back
And raced to her parents to see her child
She saw them pruning in the garden
Her little girl laughing and covered in dirt, without any care in the world
And she realized at that moment that was the most important thing in the world for her
Her daughter saw her and shouted 'Momma' and ran to her
She hugged her and felt her world had started again
The pieces had come back together once she accepted it.
