Have you?

Of all of Sorefunmi's works, this is by far my fave! Because I can certainly relate,  and I bet a lot of people can too.

I personally am a "pipe dreamer" (i legit went on the internet to look up what you call a person who has their head in the clouds; one point for me for learning a new word) and as such it felt like i was the direct recipient for this beautiful article. *but how do i find my missing rib when i can't even get on a date* (super mercy to the rescue on that with my next next post).


   "for your existence to drive someone totally crazy, selfishly treasuring you........." , oh bruva *in Uriel's -bbn- voice* every girl, or rather sane girl wants their man to look at em like they're the last chicken pepperoni pizza in the box, like the last pack of maltesers in the fridge, like the last chinese mayo spring roll on the plate, ohhh yummy i could go on, but you get my point. We just want to feel treasured and loved by the man of our dreams!
   "lusting after your happiness", this line got me fr! not just lusting after your beautiful dark skin georgeness or your light skin radiance or your in between sumptuousness (like me), but after your happiness; which means he would do anything to see you happy. okay maybe not anything, but anything within his power to see you happy, that my guy, is a lot!
    "......fingertips on his skin, kissing your lips with firm yet subtle grip on your thighs as i feel your warmth as we elope into the night in endless romance", we would of course chill till we have that 'imperfectly happy' marriage to indulge in all of this slice of heaven, you know what i mean?
   ".....the quarrels and fights that end in him/her in your arms as you look deep in your eyes for a moment before the kiss into oblivion" ohhhh, i want this. so bad!

i know some super realistic people be smhing for this article, but there is definitely something like "happy ever after" and that is realistic. you just have to smile more, trust more(i mean trust God), be open minded, get out there and let Him lead" it would be imperfectly perfect!
