So today after an amazing gospel concert i’d been at, had to go meet my aunt at the hospital she works in so we could go home together. But she said we should wait a bit so we could stop at the park to wait for my cousin; her child, who was coming from school so he could go home with us.

Wellllll, the part of the story i’m driving at is that while we were waiting I see this baldy sitting down behind us smoking a cig and then another guy (i think he was in a suit, not quite sure) was walking past the baldy and for some reason he recognized him and then the baldy recognized him too. And there was an exchange of pleasantries and then i remember hearing them say “greatest nigerian students” so i figured they were university buddies. I’m not writing cuz i was impressed by their reunion, i’m writing cuz after all the exchange of pleasantries the other guy in the suit asked for a cig too. When i saw them together at first i expected the guy in the suit to talk to the baldy about the smoking not join him in it, i was just very disappointed, i don’t know them or anything but i just felt very sad for them.
After years of finishing school, i can’t imagine meeting one of my high school or university friends at a bar smoking a joint or pole dancing, it just feels oh so wrong!

This is not me being religious, it’s just a thing about having moral standards tbh.
